Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films as well as a couple of Malayalam. In 2018, she was awarded the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her role as the character Savitri. There were three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her acting journey began at the beginning of 2000. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began her very first Malayalam projects, and then began working in Tamil simultaneously. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film was not successful at the box-office. She had to drop out of a variety of projects she was working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for bigger projects. In the end, she made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the lead role on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. It was delayed since 2015 and reports suggest it will be released after September 2020, with the name of Janakitho Nenu. In the end, the film's debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy first appeared in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan. In 2017, Keerthy was on the screen in the Tamil film PaambhuSattai and Telugu film Nenu Local.
